I've been sorting my pokemon cards since yesterday. I cannot tell you how many trainer and supporter cards I have. but the energy card stacks are esily and inch and a half, if not more, when compressed.

The binder contains an entire first-gen pokedex and copies along with (i think their alphabetized) trainer and supporter cards and energies. That is my dad's. he gave his collection to me to expand my own, and so did my brother. the only card he kept was a japanese typhlosion card, while i kept everything else.
including, but not limited to:
Rare foil cards of normal pokemon
several foil cards of hte smae pokemon
at least three variety drawings of each card
3 'mew cards' from the pokemon movie
recangular "puzzel" cards (they stopped developing these years ago)
Promo cards of both regualar and legendary pokemon
and firsr production cards of most first and second gen pokemon.

and yes, this is to make you jealous. most you kids today don't realize how novelty a "promo" starred card really is, even if it isn't in foil.

yes, this is my room.

By now, you're all probably wondering where today's page is. i'll put it simply, it;s not done.
i hae been in a rather angsty and agry mood for the last ... four days and can't seem to discerned the exact cause or why, so until i do i will see it as "one of those days" (as my moods tend to change each day, it's very hard to tell exactly WHERE they come from)
And so, there will be no pages this week. it isn't because i don't wanna draw or can't, i have the insiration, it's there. i'm just not in the mood for it.
And i beg you, no words of encouragement or well meant sympthy, because i'm not much in the mood for that either.
So instead, i leave you with the image above with my stuffed companions balance precariously in the centre of the football feild sitting area created while 'organizing' my collection.
So feel free to rant and rave and have fun, because i'm never going to check the comment section here until the next time i decide to read each and every post again, which could be a while.
still, mind your manners and your swears. and don't make any messes too big to clean up.

you may also have noticed several spelling errors throughout this post. it's because i didnt bother to go aback and speel or grammar check, so an you see, just roll with it. trust me, it could be worse. I could be writing in txt tlk

so i'll see you guys next wekk.
(pls dun go too crazy.)

...Oh my gosh, that's a lot of cards. I do the same thing, but at a quarter that size. I don't even really play the game, but still...

@Gallinator: We could finish our earlier theory-fest trying to unravel the mysteries of the comic and Iten's past? Or start talking about every refrence we can find to anything throughout the entire comic? Or just go on a two page tangent on the word "spam". That last one wasn't a serious suggestion, I just couldn't think of a third topic

Just btw Trobl. IM GOIN CRAZY

Give me a topic based on pokemon and I will bang out a page-long rant.
Ooor we could talk about favorie pokemon, games, or in my case, complicated backstory of my OC who does not actually exist.

Who here has beaten PMD explorers of time/dark/sky?

Just want a rough estimate.

Posted at August 21st, 2015, 2:18 am

@OblivionGateway: I've beaten Darkness once and gotten to the end of the main story twice more. That last battle is a nightmare for me, I usually stop playing around then. You've peaked my curiousity about that OC's backstory, but I doubt it's as complex as some of the characters I have memorized.

Essentially I have a habit that whenever I play a game, I end up inserting a character into the story in my head. The fun part from there is creating a backstory and then expanding from there.

The end result from my corruption of a personality for the pokemon universe is a trainer that became a dark-type Psychic (dark abilities, but easily mistaken for a psychic) due to a rather nasty curse from a ruin... yadda dadda ends up destroying his only pokemon's ball due to a side effect of tearing his soul in half and swapping halves with it...

I'll write entire backstory if you want...
Just btw though it is a bit sue-ish... The interaction the character could have in a PMD world is pretty interesting.

I'll just drop his name.

He is Vis. He is also Nil.

Beat time 3 times, sky twice. Loved the plot.

@OblivionGateway: No kidding, I do basicly the same thing, with every meidum, not just games.
Even with just that summary, I gotta hear this, I'm guessing Vis is his original name, and Nil the name of his Pokemon. Yeah, I have to know the story there.
(2, on "The Cursed") Jeez, that's intense, and you came up with most of this while playing Pokemon games? That's impressive. Also, Vis must be a quick thinker if he can connect recalling his pokemon and his pain, and take steps to reverse it, all while suffering massive mental trauma.
(3, on "The Awakening") That's... somewhat less impressive. Lucky is closer. As is the fact that random gesturing could accomplish anything more than looking foolish. But I'd probably do the same thing, all things considered. The whole Pokemage thing is still pretty cool regardless.
(4, on the rest of the story) ...Wow, that's awesome. I love how he sticks around and challenges new gym leaders just for fun. That and the "good job 'Heroes'". The entire thing is just epic. And yeah, I think it takes up almost half the page. This must have taken an hour minimum just to type! Thanks for spending so much time on this whole thing, and if you ever decide to commit it to a full, fleshed out story, make sure to tell me where to look! The entire thing is awesome, and I'd love to see more like this! (Though probably not here, I think we've ranted enough, seven or eight screens of text might be past the limit.)
