'nother Question for ya

First off: Monster Project is going well, I'm not quite where I want to be (about a quarter of the way sketched instead of half) and I'm gonna need to rework a few of the character designs to make it work, but keep an eye on DA for those updates.

Secondly: I mentioned a while back a few times about a Discord Server I'm toying with. I've made the server, but I'm wondering if I should leave it open for anyone or have restrictions on who can comment or participate in discussions. I'd like your thoughts.
- Do I limit the number of people who can join and let everyone comment?
- Or do I leave it open for everyone to view, but only people who have a Role can actively participate?

Regardless, I'll probably open it up for you guys sometime next month at the latest, but for now, I'm just trying to iron out as much as I can to avoid potential problems.

You shouldnt have issues opening it up to everyone as long as your rules are good, and that you possibly pick up some moderators for the server that are good suited to the task (I hold the belief that you get mods for moderating well, not just being friends, because ive seen it lead to the downfall of servers), if or when the server gets big enough then maybe if you want a cap on how many members can join, then it could be a good idea, but all depends on what would be healthy for the community. The only thing I can think of that could be an issue is if there are sour apples within the community that likely wouldnt be welcome there, but thats something for another time, possibly when the server is somewhat established.

rip the Zigazoon, that boye is super dead.

Well...
At least it'll be a good meal, wich is what mother nature would've wanted right?

On a side note: I'm not really sure what to say about the comment restriction on the Discord server other than there'll prolly be some very inactive ppl whether there was a cap or not.

I think a discord server is a good idea

Leaving it open is always fine... But I would say, make the rules very clear and make the rules enforce positivity... And be strict on the rules, no grey areas, No free passes on the rules cause someone is a good lad. Be ready to take action even on grey zone rule breaks...

That’s my thought :)

Edit: More on this... I lead some camps as a leader and the leaders on camp have the idea of “If we are strict on the rules on the first day, the rest of the week will be easy... If we are not the rest of the week is a nightmare” Not saying that people will be like kids but it would be worth being strict so that the line for what’s tolerated is set and is never pushed

Aaaaaa finally caught up, I need to make myself a permanent link to Smackjeeves or something so I'll actually check it XD
As for Discord, it's up to you on how you want to do it, though if you keep it open to everyone and allow everyone to speak, make sure all of the rules are crystal clear and there are no loopholes in it. I'd also say to get some sort of team or something to help run the server, but it can be solo. I'm fine with whatever, I just hope I actually remember to check here for if and when it gets posted >.>
I wonder how this is going to turn out, and why the Pokemon are there to begin with

Typical Poison-type villain cliches... Then again, there's always a slight chance of a stereotypical bad guy Pokemon being one of the Good guys... Though that may seem unlikely here...
